His career reflects a rare blend of manufacturing expertise, technological innovation, sustainability-driven practices, and a deep commitment to mentoring the next generation of fashion professionals. Emerging during the formative years of Tiruppur’s textile growth, he has witnessed and contributed to every major shift in the industry—from traditional production methods to advanced smart-textile innovations. Today, he leads Sensia Textiles with a vision to create garments that are functional, intelligent, and environmentally responsible. His 44-Year Professional Journey
1. Garment Manufacturing & Industry Leadership Across four decades, he has built strong foundations in: Knitted garment manufacturing Apparel merchandising & export operations Quality systems, inspections, and fabric testing Large-scale production planning Advanced fabric development and performance evaluation His broad exposure gives him an exceptional understanding of the global textile supply chain and the evolving demands of modern apparel markets.
2. Smart Textile & Functional Wear Innovation He has played a leading role in developing breakthrough textile products, including: Fever-detection garments for infants Pilot-grade incontinence underwear (FABOT-AERO) All-weather climate-control garments Sweat-mineral analysis vests Urban pollution indicator scarves Rescue-focused emergency thermal shells His work aims at solving real-world problems through wearable technology and functional apparel design.
3. Fashion Education & Mentorship A significant part of his journey has been dedicated to fashion training and student development.
